We use Google Firebase for authentication and data storage (Firestore). Firebase servers may be located worldwide, but Google guarantees compliance with European data protection standards. Your saved animal data is securely managed in Firestore and will not be sold to third parties.
The Explorer mode and Walk Tracker require access to your location data. When you use the Walk Tracker, the app collects location data in the background (even when the app is closed or not actively used) in order to seamlessly record the distance covered for you. This data is used locally for display on the map. Your routes are only permanently saved to your own Firebase database after explicit, manual saving (e.g. at the end of the walk).
The AI advisor transmits your input texts (and photos/invoices during document scanning) to the Google Gemini API for processing. Please do not send any sensitive personal data to the AI.
This app uses Google AdMob for refinancing, as well as Google Analytics for Firebase for anonymous evaluation of app crashes and pure usage statistics (e.g., to understand which app features are used most frequently). Before displaying personalized advertising, your explicit consent is requested via a consent banner. You can revoke this decision at any time in the settings of your device or in the app.
You have the right to get information, block, or delete your stored data at any time. You can delete your entire account and all associated animal and health data directly and irrevocably at any time within the LennLu app via the menu item "Settings -> Delete Account" remove. Alternatively, you can send an informal deletion request to our support email listed below.
